About the Event

FIRST Robotics is a STEM education program that teaches kids in K-12th grade to build robots. They are working to create the future generation of STEM leaders and teach vital teamwork skills.

They are looking for judges for their tournaments on March 31. Kids in their middle-school program are completing their district championships. They've worked hard this season and need a little extra support.

What does judging look like? It means attending the event from 8am-5:30pm and receiving free breakfast, lunch, and snacks. You will talk to the teams and ask questions about how they built their robot and used teamwork in their groups! You are less of a judge and more of a mentor.

Volunteer sign ups are done through the FIRST website --> https://my.firstinspires.org/AccountManager/Account/Register

From there, create an account, click the button to volunteer at an event, filter by location to California, and sign up to volunteer!
