This event is designed to inspire and empower women+ in engineering by providing insights into cutting-edge technology and essential professional development skills.
Technical Topic: “AI in the Public Sector” – Ezinne Nwankwo, Computer Science researcher at UC Berkeley, will explore how artificial intelligence is influencing industries such as social work, participatory governance, and healthcare. Ezinne will give an overview on techniques used in this space to help with downstream analysis and the ethics to consider when deploying these systems.
Career Development Topic: “Building Your Brand” – Current COO of Yema, a local stealth biotech company, and an experienced founder, Anne Marie Droste will be joining us in fireside chat to dive into how to build a variety of technical skills can lead to taking risks as you establish your career path and your brand.
