About the Event
Join me, Lisa Duncan, your hike leader, as we explore the many hidden gardens on the Stanford campus. The Arizona Cactus Garden has an amazing variety of cactus and succulent species and some will be in bloom. The Papua New Guinea garden has a collection of amazing sculptures created by visiting artists, plus a labyrinth right next to it. We will circle back to the Rodin garden and you can break off from the group if you wish to explore the Cantor Museum or Anderson Collection (free admission). The Cantor has a yummy cafe if you need a refreshment.
Parking: We will meet at the Quarry South Lot, on Quarry Rd (free to all on weekends). This lot is parking for the Stanford Center for Academic Medicine (453 Quarry Rd).
Strollers & wagons: Yes, bring the kids. Most of our path is flat with smooth terrain.
